Rugby ATL Falls to New York Ironworkers in Final Home Match of Season

Rugby ATL hosted the New York Ironworkers at their final home match of the 2023 regular season. With the first Rugby ATL points scored from a penalty goal kick by Chris Hilsenback, the teams had several back-and-forth moments resulting in a halftime score of 10-22.
In the second 40 minutes, both teams fought hard and continued to rally with two additional tries scored by Rugby ATL. In the end, New York prevailed with a final score of 24-39.
Rugby ATL will travel to Washington D.C to face D.C. Glory on June 17 for their final 2023 regular season match. Details on the official away watch party at The Wing Cafe and Tap House can be found at https://rugbyatl.rugby/.
