KATY, TX - The Katy Ruff Riders (1-1) announced four official roster transactions today that will be in effect when the Ruff Riders (1-1) take on the Alaska Wild (0-3) this Sunday at the Merrell Center at 3:00 pm.
The Ruff Riders have signed former Wofford All-American kicker Darren Brown (Hendersonville, NC) following the release of kicker Whitney Hillin (Midland, TX). In addition, coach Donald Hollas has also released backup quarterback Jacob Chavan (San Antonio, TX) and reserve linebacker Michael Williams (Baytown, TX).
Sunday's game from Katy can be heard on ESPN Radio 97.5 FM The Ticket, with Jonathan Yardley on the call.
