Rourke, Morrow and Robertson named June Top Performers

TORONTO - Nathan Rourke, Jamal Morrow and Pete Robertson are the Canadian Football League (CFL)'s Top Performers for June of the 2022 season. The selections include all appearances from Weeks 1 to 4.

The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.

QB | NATHAN ROURKE | BC LIONS

Completed 88-of-105 passes (83.8 per cent) for 1,077 yards

Second in passing yards - four shy of leader, despite playing in one fewer game

Leads the league with nine touchdown passes

180 yards on 15 carries (12 yards per rush) and three rushing majors (tied for league-lead)

Two games with 300+ passing yards, including 436 yards vs. Toronto in Week 3 - a CFL single-game record for a Canadian quarterback

CFL Top Performer in Weeks 1 and 3

RB | JAMAL MORROW | SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS

735 all purpose yards, two rushing touchdowns

League leader in rushing with 257 yards (5.6 yards per carry)

11 receptions for 115 yards

363 combined return yards

Two 100+ yard rushing games this season (126 in Week 2 and 103 in Week 4)

Leads the league with seven sacks

Matched career-high of two sacks in a game on three occasions (Weeks 1, 3, 4)

10 defensive tackles this season matches output from entire 2021 rookie campaign
