Bismarck Roughriders News Release
The Bismarck Roughriders of the National Indoor Football League have announced the signing of Chris Schwab as the team's offensive coordinator.
Schwab possesses indoor experience as the Quarterback of the 2000 IFL runner-up Bismarck Blaze. Schwab started 10 games that season as a quarterback going 8-2 and leading the team to a conference championship over Topeka.
As a coach Schwab was involved as a position coach with the University of Mary following his playing days as a Marauder.
"We are very excited to add Chris to the staff he brings experience both as a player and a coach and has proven himself in the indoor game," Cody Schmidt, Director of Operations.
Head Coach Luke Shafer added, "Adding Chris to this staff as the Offensive Coordinator will be very good because not only does he know indoor football defenses, he is also very intelligent. Chris is not only a good football coach, he is also a very good person."
