April 7, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release
Prior to Saturday night's game in Nashville the Chicago Rush made three roster moves, the team announced today.
The Rush activated wide receiver Buchie Ibeh from Injured Reserve, activated wide receiver Carl Ford from the team's Refused to Report list and signed WR/DB Rui Nakanishi to the team's practice squad.
Ibeh (6-2, 210, Temple) has been on IR since suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Chicago's Week 1 game at Kansas City. Prior to the injury, Ibeh caught five passes for 48 yards in the game.
Ford (6-0, 182, Toledo) joins the team after originally signing a two-year contract in November. A seventh-round draft pick of the Packers in 2003, Ford spent a season in Green Bay before being signed to the Bears practice squad in 2004. He was elevated to the Bears active roster in 2005 and appeared in 10 games before being released and signed by the Eagles for the remaining six weeks of the season.
Nakanishi (5-9, 174, Osaka) traveled from Osaka, Japan to join the team's practice squad.
