
Rome's Dorsey named WBA Player of Week for April 22nd-April 28th

Atlanta, Georgia - Rome Gladiator's Daryl "MaJic" Dorsey (186-G-81, college: S.Indiana), has been selected as the Player of the Week in the WBA for April 22nd-28th. In week one of WBA regular season action, MaJic averaged 29 points, 12.5 assists, 5 rebounds, 2.5 steals per game, while leading the Gladiators to a 2-0 record for the week. Dorsey, who was named the 2005 ABA Rookie of the Year, dropped 26 points and 16 assists in a 131-88 win over Magic City in Rome's home opener, followed by 32 points and 9 assists in a 133-109 road win at Kentucky. He has also shot 87.5% (14-16) from the free throw line, including a 'cool' 10 of 10 against Magic City.
