Rome Legions Announce Press Conference

Rome, GA. The ABA Rome Legions have announced a Press Conference scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd at 12n at the Forum Civic Center in Rome, Georgia. According to Steve Rodriguez, majority owner, "We will be introducing Head Coach Larry Lassett; General Manager Chris Coates, the President of Coates Sports Managementment, and Assistant Coach Cabral Huff, Director of Operations. This is an exciting time for Rome Georgia basketball as the ABA finally gets its start in Northern Georgia." The press, media and public is invited.
In addition, the team will be introducing its logo, web site, corporate partners and plans for the upcoming 2007-2008 season as well as information about its tryout camps.
