Former Mansfield University Star Inks With Bulldogs
Published on August 20, 2007 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Corning, NY. The ABA Corning Bulldogs have made room for one more on the teams roster. Demontric Doddles, a 6'7 star forward from Mansfield University has been added. Demontric averaged 13 ppg during the 199-2000 season at the NCAA D-2 school while breaking the school's 3 point field goal percentage with a dazzling 43.% from behind the arc.
According to James R. Schutz, co-owner and General Manager, "I had originally called down to Mansfield because I was interested in taking a look at a player who had just graduated. Rich Miller, the team's head coach, called me back and told me he had someone better, a great former player who happened to still be in the area. Demontric came up to the team's first practice this past Saturday and opened a scrimmage up by hitting 8 consecutive 3 pointers. Five minutes into Saturday's practice we knew he was our guy."
