The Appalachian League named Pulaski relief pitcher Rohn Pierce its Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on August 17th.
Pierce made three relief appearances during that time span and went a perfect 3-0. He did not allow a run-earned or unearned-in eight-and-one-third innings pitched.
Only ten batters reached base against Pierce in those three games, and he struck out ten.
