
Rockstars announce tryout camp

Chicago, IL. Marques Sullivan, founder and president of the ABA Chicago Rockstars announced a third open play tryout. The tryout will be held at Joy of the Game, Inc., located at 158 S. Waugekan Road in Deerfield, IL (www.joyofthegame.com). Registration will start at 8am and the tryout will begin at 9am-2pm on Saturday, August 12th.
The fee for the tryout will be $125 pre-registration and $175 at the door. Players that wish to be eligible for the $125 fee must register before August 7th. After August 7th, players will be considered walk-ups and must pay $175 at the door.
Players that attended the two previous tryouts may walk up and pay $100 at the door. The Rockstars strongly prefer pre-registered players to determine the number of players that will participate. Players that make the cut will be invited to the free agent camp in September. This will be a free tryout consisting of players the Rockstars are strongly considering. In October, the Rockstars will host thdeir first annual training camp. Final cuts will be made after the camp ends. A 12-man roster and 3 alternates will be chosen at that time.
