
Rockford Fury to Host Free Basketball Clinic

Rockford, Illinois - January 24, 2008 - The players and coaches of the Rockford Fury are excited to offer a free basketball clinic to children of all ages. General Manager and Head Coach Dave Knickelbein says the players are looking forward to teaching kids who are new to the sport the basics of basketball, while sharpening the skills of those who are more experienced. The Rockford Fury Basketball Clinic will take place Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 9:00am-11:00am at the Blackhawk Boys and Girls Club, 330 15th Avenue, Rockford. Kids need to wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes, and arrive with a winning attitude! Each participant of the clinic will receive a free game ticket for Saturday night's Rockford Fury vs. Arkansas Impact home game.
The Fury will take on the Impact at Seaver Gym on the Rockford College Campus on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 7:05pm. Advance general admission tickets are available by calling 815.399.4222 and tickets can also be purchased at the gate on game day.
Tickets for regular season games are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors, and children 6 and under are free. Plus, V.I.P. seats are available for each home game; contact the Rockford Fury for availability. Special rates apply for groups of 10 or more; please call 815.399.422.
