Reading, PA - September 25, 2012 - The Reading Rockets are pleased to announce the team's first annual Preseason Launch Party, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Wyomissing. The event is open to the public and will run from 6-8 pm. The Crowne Plaza will be serving complimentary appetizers and soft drinks, and a cash bar will be available.
Mingle with Rockets players, coaches and staff as they prepare for an exciting season of professional indoor lacrosse.
The Rockets launch their inaugural season on Saturday, September 29th against the Jacksonville Bullies at the Sovereign Center in downtown Reading. Everyone is encouraged to Paint the Launch Pad Pink by wearing pink to show your support for breast cancer research and to honor those who battle against breast cancer every day. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and the postgame jersey auction will benefit St. Joseph Cancer Center and Susan G. Komen of Philadelphia.
