Rockers schedule first tryout camp

Akron, OH. James Dod, Asst Coach for the ABA Lake Erie Rockers professional basketball team that begins play in November today announced that the teams first tryout camp will be held Friday, August 12th at the Tallmadge Recreation Center, 46 North Munroe Road, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Registration will begin at 630pm, the tryout will be from 7-11pm. The tryout fee of $100 must be received by Wed, Aug 10th or $125 the day of the tryout. Cash and money orders only.
Players that make the team in November will have their tryout fee refunded. T-shirts will be given to all participants and the event will also be filmed. Five of the top participants will be chosen to travel and play professionally in the ABA sanctioned Summer Pro-League with the Lake Erie Rockers. All expenses paid.
