Rockers Close out 2022 Season on Road at Chinooks

Ashwaubenon, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers conclude their 2022 regular season with a trip to Mequon to take on the Lakeshore Chinooks in a road doubleheader, with first pitches set for 3 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.
Green Bay comes into this game just recently winning their 30th game of the season, after they took down Lakeshore 6-3 Friday night at Capital Credit Union Park.
In the home finale, the Rockers offense was led by a home run by Jake Mastillo in the later innings, while two RBIs each from Clayton Slack and Matt Scannell pushed the pace for Green Bay to pick up their 20th second half win of the season.
Jacob Young earned the win on the mound after he pitched four innings of scoreless relief, with giving up just one hit with one walk and two strikeouts.
In this season ending doubleheader, the Rockers will send out Aaron Heger as well as Luke Hoskins out on the mound for both games, with both guys hoping to finish strong in 2022.
Hoskins will be making his first start of 2022 while Aaron Heger will be making his third start of the season in search of his first win.
The Chinooks will start Mitch Alba as well as Tyler Gronert for the two games, with Gronert coming into the game with a 2-0 record and a 5.51 ERA.
These games will conclude the 2022 regular season for Green Bay as there will be no more games following today's doubleheader.
