
Rochester Fire Announce Success Of First Kidsfest

Rochester, MN. The ABA Rochester Fire announced the success of their first Kidsfest. The Fire's Kidsfest was held Saturday, August 18th at the RCTC Field House. Families that made their way to the RCTC Field House were treated to multiple family-friendly activities. Bounceables Party Rentals provided excitement through their inflatable basketball game, castle and their 22 ft slide. The Rochester Heat Dance Team was on hand to provide dance instruction for the kids. Kidsfest also included art activities and face painting courtesy of the Rochester Art Center.
The highlight of the afternoon was the one-on-one interaction between the Rochester Fire players and the kids in attendance. Joe Evert, Robert Riley, Erik Karow and coach Herb Hofer were on hand to offer basketball instruction to the kids.
"We were very pleased with the outcome of Kidsfest and would like to thank everyone who participated and made the event a success," Director of Basketball Operations for the Fire, Quentin Berner, said. "A special thanks to the Rochester Art Center for providing art activities and face painting."
