
Rochester Americans Sign Purchase Agreement with the Buffalo Sabres

Rochester Americans News Release
The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed a purchase agreement with the Buffalo Sabres Hockey Club. The AHL Board of Governors approved the sale earlier today.
The Sabres expect to hold a public press conference in Rochester next week to set forth their plans for the franchise.
Current Amerks owner Curt Styres will retain ownership of the Rochester Knighthawks franchise of the National Lacrosse League.
