St. Louis Middle Blocker Roberts Named USPV Player Of The Week
OAKBROOK TERRACE, ILL., March 19, 2002_ St. Louis Quest Middle Blocker Benishe Roberts has been named U.S. Pro Volleyball (USPV) Player Of The Week for the period March 11-17.
Roberts helped resurgent St. Louis to a 2-1 record during a three-match stretch.
In those three matches, Roberts averaged 17.2 points, 12.7 kills, 3.8 blocks and 6.0 blocks.
Roberts becomes the second player to repeat this season as Player Of The Week. Roberts won the award back in Week 2. Chicago's Kristee Porter was the first USPV player to win the award on two occasions.
Roberts is currently averaging 14.3 points, 10.0 kills, 3.39 blocks and 7.7 digs a contest.
