
Rob Blasdell Named Week Six MSL Defensive Player of the Week

TORONTO, ON --- Major Series Lacrosse has announced that Arizona Sting/Barrie Lakeshores goaltender Rob Blasdell has been named the Defensive Player of the Week for Week #6 of the MSL season. Blasdell's Ontario Lacrosse Association team-mate, Luke Wiles, was named Offensive Player of the Week for Week #6.
Blasdell, a native of Orillia, ON, posted a 2-0-0 record this past week with victories over the Peterborough Lakers and St. Regis Indians. Blasdell currently leads the MSL with a 7.26 GAA. A nine year veteran of the NLL, Blasdell played in Arizona during the 2006 season and registered a SV % of .737 and a G.A.A. of 12.44 while posting a record of 5-5 for the Sting.
