
RoadRunners Reschedule Upon Death of TPD Officer

[TOPEKA] Sunday, September 7th, the Topeka community suffered the loss of CPL Jason Harwood in the line of duty. The Topeka Police Department is in the planning process of his funeral to be held this Saturday September 13th. In respect for the funeral, The Topeka RoadRunners organization has decided to move their game from Saturday September 13th, to Sunday September 14th at 1:05 pm.
"Our entire organization knows all too well the pain of losing a brother," said RoadRunners owner Don Stone, " We are mourning with the Topeka community and thinking of the family of CPL Harwood along with all affected by this tragic event."
The RoadRunners will play their Friday home opener as planned, September 12th, at 7:05 pm. All tickets for Saturday night's game will be honored Sunday September 14th. For more information about the change, please call the office at (785) 286-7825.
