RiverHawks Release Opening Night Roster

Augusta, GA---The Augusta RiverHawks, proud member of the Southern Professional Hockey League and reigning 2011-12 Coffey Trophy Champions, is pleased to announce the Opening Night roster for the 2012-13 season. The roster features seven players returning from the 2011-12 season. The Team is led by third-year Captain Matt Auffrey. The Alternate Captains will be Jason Price, also returning for a third season, and newcomer Dennis Sicard.

The RiverHawks will be carrying three goalies to begin the season: third-year returner Peter Skoggard, and rookies Alex Beaudry and Robby Moss. Moss has been signed to a three-game try-out to make this possible.

Augusta's first test will come on the road, as the team travels to the home of the Mississippi RiverKings for two games; Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27. Fans are encouraged to attend the official viewing party at Forest Hills Golf Club beginning at 8:05PM on Friday.

The RiverHawks will host their Opening Weekend on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 at the James Brown Arena. Game times are 7:35PM.
