
Rising Transfers Forward Greg Hurst to New Mexico United

Phoenix Rising FC News Release
Phoenix Rising FC announced today the club has transferred forward Greg Hurst to fellow USL Championship side New Mexico United, pending league and federation approval.
As part of the deal, Phoenix will receive an international roster spot for the 2023 season. Further details of the transfer will not be disclosed.
Hurst scored six goals and five assists in 31 appearances this season. The forward ranked fifth on the team in goals per minute, striking once every 325 minutes.
Prior to joining Phoenix, Hurst scored 14 goals and notched two assists in 30 matches for the USL League One Champion, Union Omaha during the 2021 season.
Hurst began his career in Scotland with then Scottish League One side Stirling Albion. He appeared in two matches as a 17-year-old before gaining experience with Scottish League One, League Two and Premier League clubs. Hurst accumulated 68 appearances and 13 goals in Scotland.
