TEXAS THUNDER in town tonight at UH at 7:35pm to start a 3-game series against the New England Riptide.

Also, on July 6th, the USA Olympic fastpitch softball team was slated to play a double-header at Memorial Park against the Texas College All-Stars. Unfortunately the games were cancelled due to the massive thunder storm that came through Houston an hour before start time. Metro Houston ASA did a great job getting the park and teams prepared but no one could prepare for that amount of rain in such a short time.
In an effort to ease the burden of all of the kids/fans that were unable to see extremely high level of ball the Texas Thunder will honor your Olympic exhibition ticket to ANY regular season Texas Thunder game.
Bring your ticket or ticket stub to any of the remaining regular season home games (see schedule on this web site) and exchange it at NO EXPENSE for a Texas Thunder game ticket.
There are former Olympians like native Houstonian CHRISTA WILLIAMS (Dobie High School/University of Texas) playing in our league too.
This home stand starts Monday, July 19th, when the New England Riptide come to town for a 3-game series through Wednesday, July 21st. Then starting Friday, July 23rd the NY/NJ Juggernaut are here for a 3-game series.

PANASONIC NIGHT -- Texas Thunder and PANASONIC have partnered up again for "Panasonic Night" at the ball park during the entire series against the New England Riptide and the NY/NJ Juggernaut as they come to town this week.
Again, thanks to PANASONIC, ALL seats in the stadium are on sale for $6.00 per seat (box and bleacher seats). This offer is on a first-come-first-serve basis for this series only. Call now to buy your tickets over the phone (281-265-8277) or purchase them at the UH ticket window at the UH softball field at 6:15pm each night (no other discounts or promotions apply). If you haven't been to a game yet this is a GREAT opportunity to see some of the greatest fastpitch softball players on the planet compete. It's GREAT family entertainment. Bring your team and watch how the game can be played. Coaches that have brought their teams to the games have come away with some very inspired players.
Just like Major League Baseball games fans get to keep the foul balls. Then at NPF games your kids and players get to come onto the field following the game for an autograph session and pictures with their favorite player. The kids love it and the parents love seeing their young players positively motivated!
