Riptide Defeat Moncton to Force Game 4 Saturday Night

The Saint John Riptide defeated the Moncton Magic 89-84 to stave off elimination and force a game #4 on Saturday night at Harbour Station.
The Riptide took the lead in the second quarter and although Moncton kept the score close, the home squad never relinquished the lead. Malcolm Miller led all scorers with 26 points. Riptide point gurard Horace Wormely notched 12 assists to go with 7 rebounds and 8 points.
For the visiting Moncton sqaud, Juan Patillo continued his impressive performance throughout the series scoring 25 to go with 9 rebounds.
The series has been a tight and defensive battle as neither team has managed to score over 100 points through the first 3 games.
The series continues with game #4 on Saturday night at 7PM at Harbour Station.
