TAMPA BAY - The five-time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm have re-signed lineman A.J. Ricker to a one-year contract, Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Tim Marcum announced today.

Ricker, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound native of Houston, Texas is coming off his rookie campaign in the Arena Football League. In 2006 he accumulated 5.5 tackles (four solo, three assisted) and one fumble recovery. Ricker was one of eight Storm players who appeared in all 16 contests last season.

Prior to joining with the Storm in January of this year, the Chicago Bears signed him as an un-drafted free agent in 2004. The Bears allocated him to NFL Europe for the 2005 season where he played center for the Rhein Fire.

Ricker garnered first-team All-Big 12 honors his senior season after registering 121 pancake blocks while playing at the University of Missouri. A four-year starter in Columbia, he set a school-record with 47 consecutive starts at center.

Season tickets for the five-time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm are now on sale for as low as $99. For more information call 813.301.6600 or visit www.tampabaystorm.com.
