Rhinos Unveil 20th Anniversary Logo

Rochester, NY - The 2015 season marks the 20th Anniversary of the Rochester Rhinos. To celebrate, the Rochester Rhinos are unveiling a 20th anniversary commemorative logo. The new logo is a way to celebrate our history while giving it a refreshing new look. The logo incorporates the "raging" Rhino of the past and embraces a modern twist.

"This is an exciting time for us as an organization and we look forward to celebrating this historic time with the Rochester community who have been very supportive of the Rhinos over the years. We have many exciting things planned for this year and want to invite everyone to Sahlen's Stadium to help make this a memorable year." said Rhinos President & COO Pat Ercoli.

The design was created by a Rochester native Todd Dawes of Dawes Art and will be featured throughout the season as the primary logo of the Rhinos. It will be featured on the team's official Admiral home & away kits and commemorative merchandise that will be available in the spring and at all Rhinos home games.

A major highlight of this 20th anniversary season will be the Rhinos Legends Hall of Fame game taking place prior to the annual Hall of Fame night scheduled on Saturday June 27th, 2015.

The Legends game will feature former Rhinos of the past followed by a reception and a meet and greet. Two Hall of Famers have been selected to captain these teams and will participate in team selections. They are former goalkeeper Billy Andracki and defender Craig Demmin.

Andracki was a Rhinos goalkeeper from 1996-2003. He led the Rhinos to the 1996 A-League & U.S. Open Cup Final in the first season of the franchise. Andracki is second on the All-Time Rhinos list in Goalkeeper Wins and Goalkeeper Saves. Billy was inducted into the Rhinos Hall of Fame in 2013.

Demmin had two stints with the Rochester Rhinos. He was Rhinos team MVP, and All-League selection from 1998-2000 when the Rhinos won two A-League titles and the U.S. Open Cup. He then returned to play with the Rhinos from 2002-2005 and helped to anchor the defense. Craig was inducted into the Rhinos Hall of Fame in 2012.

Every Thursday they will be selecting former players in a "draft" like manner.

"Team Demmin" and "Team Andracki" will bring Rhinos of the past back to celebrate an unforgettable 20th anniversary.

"This is going to be a fun night. Having guys back in Rochester that played a big part in our history and having them on the field that they helped build is going to be exciting for all of us. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to coach them and look forward to seeing them all again in a Rhinos uniform. " said Ercoli.
