Rochester Rhinos News Release

The Rochester Rhinos return to Harrisburg to play the City Islanders for the second time this season on Friday, June 15th at 6PM in Skyline Sports Complex. The Rhinos entered their first match with the City Islanders with a 6-0-1 record in the USL PRO on May 25th.

Harrisburg's Morgan Langley finished a cross from Joseph Noone in the 48th minute, and Nick Noble made two saves on four shots to keep the clean sheet. The City Islanders 1:0 victory over Rochester gave the Rhinos their first loss of the season, and started them on a winless streak that has reached four matches in USL PRO play.

The Rochester Rhinos and Harrisburg City Islanders match will be available live on UNATION at [12]www.uslnation.com at 6PM on Friday night.

Rhinos 2012 HOF Class!

The Rochester Rhinos will be inducting Craig Demmin, Doug Miller, and Pat Onstad into their Hall of Fame in the Class of 2012. The three Rhinos legends will join Lenin Steenkamp, the club's inaugural Hall of Fame selection in 2011, in the Rhinos Hall of Fame. The Rochester Rhinos Hall of Fame Night will be on Saturday, June 30th against the Harrisburg City Islanders. Each Hall of Fame inductee will also be honored with a limited edition bobble head during the 2012 season.

Center back Craig Demmin is the only four-time Rhinos Most Valuable Player. The seven year Rhinos veteran played in four finals and won two A-League Championships (1998, 2000) and the 1999 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Demmin was a four time All-League selection who won First Team honors in 1998, 1999, and 2000. He anchored a back four that shut out two Major League Soccer sides on the way to the 1999 U.S. Open Cup title, and that shut out 12 post-season opponents in his career. Demmin ranks in the top five all-time in Rhinos history in games played, games started, and minutes played.
