Rochester Rhinos News Release

(Rochester, NY)...The Rochester Raging Rhinos have announced that they have signed a three-year deal with Entercom Rochester Radio. The Rhinos' new FM radio home will be Fickle 93.3 FM: Random Radio (formerly WBBF).

Fickle 93.3 FM will provide the broadcasts of all Raging Rhinos' regular season, U.S. Open Cup, "friendly matches" and playoff matches. This will mark the first time that the team's main signal has been on an FM frequency. Broadcaster Don Stevens will return for his 10th season as the "Voice of the Rhinos" and Joe Giuliano will return for his eighth season as the color analyst. The broadcast will also feature the ninth season of the Rhinos' post game call-in show "Behind the Net" featuring "Soccer" Sam Fantauzzo.

"We are very happy to have our games carried by Fickle 93.3 FM and to be a part of Entercom Rochester's exciting format change," said Raging Rhinos CEO Steve Donner. "Since our inception, it has always been our goal to broaden our broadcast signal and reach out to more of our fans in Rochester, Monroe County and the surrounding areas. We are now one of the first professional soccer teams to broadcast our games on the FM frequency."

Fickle 93.3 FM is the latest new format launch from Entercom Rochester. In the past five years, no Rochester Radio Group has spent more on research and marketing to maximize the ratings of their stations. From the launch of the Buzz (now consistently a top station) in 2000, Entercom has endeavored to create radio stations that combine personality, great music, and unique brand values to the Rochester community.

"We're very excited to partner with the Rhinos in conjunction with our new Fickle 93.3 FM: Random Radio format launch," commented Michael Doyle, Entercom Rochester Vice-President/General Manager. "With the success of the Raging Rhinos franchise and Entercom's commitment to quality programming in the Rochester community, we feel that this will be a mutually beneficial relationship."

The Raging Rhinos will open their 2005 regular season schedule on the road against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 p.m. The team will open the home portion of their schedule on May 7th, as the Rhinos host the Puerto Rico Islanders at Frontier Field at 7:35 p.m.
