
Rhinos Pre Season Plans Announced

Rochester Rhinos News Release
(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Rhinos will welcome the 2009 pre-season with an invitation-only combine to be held on March 20th and 21st at Rochester Rhinos Stadium.
The combine will feature approximately 35 players from the United States, Canada, France, Cuba, and the United Kingdom. A complete roster will be available for the media at the combine. Led by Darren Tilley, the combine is invitation-only, and applicants were hand selected by the Rochester Rhinos coaching staff.
March 21st also marks the beginning of the Rhinos pre-season. Many of the players have begun returning to Rochester and are anxious to get back out on the pitch. The Rhinos will prepare for the upcoming season with several pre-season matches against various teams including USL-1 newcomer, the Cleveland City Stars, as well as Crystal Palace Baltimore and Real Maryland of USL-2.
The Rhinos will begin their 14th season on the road in Cary, North Carolina on Saturday, April
18th, as they take on the Carolina Railhawks at WakeMed Soccer Park. Rochester opens its 2009 home slate at Rochester Rhinos Stadium on Saturday, May 30th, against Montreal.
