Rhinos Host First Round Playoff Match

Rochester, NY- The 2015 defending USL Champions have earned a first round playoff match at Rochester Rhinos Stadium. The team will face the Charlotte Independence on Saturday, October 1st with kickoff at 6:05 p.m.

With only five losses all season long, the Rhinos will be in good position, and spirits to defend their title. The team has faced the Charlotte Independence twice already this season with a 1-0-1 record against them.

"It feels good to earn home field in the first round and we're excited to be able to defend our title. We had a good energy and a good crowd supporting us last game, it's great momentum heading into Saturday" said the team's leading scorer Christian Volesky.

Tickets for the first round of playoffs are just $15.00 throughout the entire stadium. Fans are encouraged to reserve their seats early to ensure the best seat in the house. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 585-454-5424, or by visiting the box office.

Fans can enjoy $2.00 Genesee and Magic Hat drafts throughout the match at the Genesee Brew House Beer Garden and the Bourbon Bar. Merchandise specials will continue throughout playoffs including $10.00 T-Shirts and $15.00 New Era hats while supplies last.
