ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against the Rochester Rhinos in front of 5,001 fans at the World Wide Technology Soccer Park Saturday night.
With the loss, STL FC dropped to 1-2-1 on the season. Rochester remained unbeaten and moved to 3-0-2.
Colin Rolfe scored the decisive goal for the visitors in the 78th minute, racing onto a through ball and beating goalkeeper Alec Kann at the far post.
Charles Renken and Mike Ambersley both had chances to score for the hosts in the second half, but neither was able to make the breakthrough.
Rochester outshot STL FC 11-4 over the 90 minutes, with Kann making four saves in his first start for Saint Louis.
Next up for Saint Louis FC is a road game against Oklahoma City Energy FC on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Taft Stadium.
