EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC President Ron Patel has been invited to speak as part a panel at the inaugural Texas Soccer Summit on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. CT. The panel will address the means by which clubs outside Major League Soccer can become central pillars of their local communities, and how relationships with fans and local businesses can best be fostered to ensure long-term success.
Patel will be joined by three fellow USL Championship executives for the discussion, which will be hosted by The Striker Texas' Chairman Rene van de Zande. To watch, please sign up through the Texas Soccer Summit webpage.
