RGV FC Falls to New York Red Bulls II

EDINBURG, Texas - Kembo Kibato and Rio Grande Valley FC fell to New York Red Bulls II with a "Golden Goal" rule, 1-2. With the loss, the Toros are out of the Division A Quarterfinals of the USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition.
The first half was tight as both teams defended their goal very well going into the half with a 0-0 score.
The second half kicked off with a goal from Cabrais in the 73rd minute after receiving a through ball, sending it to the back-left post giving Brazil a 1-0 lead. New York, as Chile, equalized after Alexis scored a left-footed goal to the back-right side, 1-1.
With the match ending in a draw, the matchup had to head to a "Golden Goal" game where Vidal scored in the 6th minute winning the game for Chile, 1-2.
RGV FC will continue week 3 of the USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition next week. All games will be streamed on the Toros Twitch Channel (RGVFCToros).
