Revolution ready to train at Wrentham State

Foxborough, Mass. - The first-place New England Revolution (13-5-6, 45 pts.) will train Tuesday thru Thursday of this week at Wrentham State School in Foxborough. The team will then travel to Utah to play Real Salt Lake (5-14-4, 19 pts.) at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 3 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City (TV-FSN: Radio - WEEI 850AM). The game can be heard streaming live on www.revolutionsoccer.net .

This past Saturday night, the Revolution earned a come-from-behind victory against Eastern Conference rival D.C. United (11-8-5, 38 pts.) with a 2-1 victory in front of 18,049 fans at Gillette Stadium. Revs forward Taylor Twellman scored his 11th goal of the season with just seconds left in stoppage time to win the game for New England. The Revolution earned its 45th point of the season to tie the club's total season points record. The Revolution also equaled the team mark for wins in a season (13) with eight matches remaining in the season.

Accredited media wishing to attend Revs training sessions are asked to contact the Revolution Communications Department on the day prior to each session to confirm attendance. Media wishing to attend home games must contact Revolution Communications NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the game. Media members who fail to provide advanced notice risk having their credential requests denied.
