New England Revolution News Release

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution fans now have the opportunity to bid for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on the field for the team's highly-anticipated Aug. 12 match against the Los Angeles Galaxy featuring international icon David Beckham.

The New England Revolution Charitable Foundation today launched 11 online charitable auctions at eBay (www.ebay.com) where fans can place bids for the opportunity to walk onto field hand-in-hand with New England and Los Angeles' starting lineups - including international icon David Beckham - prior to the national anthem and team introductions on Sunday, Aug. 12, at Gillette Stadium. Auctions can be accessed by typing in keywords "Revolution Player Escorts" at the eBay homepage. Player escorts must be ages 5-14.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the auctions will go to the New England Revolution Charitable Foundation, the not-for-profit charitiable arm of the Revolution.

There will be two rounds of auctions to include all 22 player escorts. The first round - which started today, Monday, July 23 - includes escorts for 11 players: Los Angeles' David Beckham, Landon Donovan and three other players, as well as Revs stars Taylor Twellman, Matt Reis, Shalrie Joseph, Steve Ralston, Pat Noonan and Michael Parkhurst.

The minimum bid for David Beckham's player escort is $1,000, and the winner will also receive four (4) tickets to the sold-out Fidelity Investments Clubhouse for the game. All other auctions start at $250, and include two (2) tickets to the game.

All winning bids that reach $1,000 will be upgraded to four (4) tickets in the Fidelity Investments Clubhouse, as well.

The auctions for the 11 players launched today will expire on Aug. 2. Auctions for the remaining 11 player escorts will go live at a later date to be announced.
