Reserve Your Spot at the Fall Baseball Luncheon

October 31, 2002 - Eastern League (EL1)
New Haven Ravens News Release

There is still time to reserve your spot at the Ravens' first-ever Fall Baseball Luncheon featuring Toronto Blue Jays General Manager J.P. Ricciardi. The luncheon, presented by the New Haven Register, News/Talk 960 WELI, and 1300 AM "The Zone", will be held on Friday, November 1 at 12:00 at the Omni New Haven Hotel on Temple Street by the New Haven Green.

The Ravens, Sikorsky Aircraft, and Community Health Charities will have a very special announcement at the event. Sikorsky President/Community Health Charities Chairman Dean Borgman and Community Health Charities President Kevin Canavan are both expected to attend. Other notables on the guest list are New Haven Mayor John DeStefano, West Haven Mayor Richard Borer, Yale President Richard Levin, and Yale Athletic Director Tom Beckett. In addition to lunch, there will be a raffle, a question and answer session, and autograph opportunities. Tickets are available for $25 individually or $225 for a table of ten. Please call the Ravens at (203) 782-1666 ASAP to order.

Also, there is still time to bid on Ravens game-worn jerseys on eBay.

Three jerseys -- for outfielders CoCo Crisp, Luis Garcia and So Taguchi -- are available through Friday afternoon. Crisp started this past season with the Ravens before being dealt to the Indians in the Chuck Finley deal. Garcia was also a part of that trade. Taguchi signed with the Cardinals this past season after a ten-year career in Japan. Here are the links to the auctions:
