Republic FC Team Members Visiting Butte County to Deliver Donations to Camp Fire Victims

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC team members and fans, in partnership with KHTK Sports 1140, will be visiting Butte County on Thursday, December 20, to distribute donations of school supplies and gift cards to victims of the Camp Fire. Additional fans are invited to join in the caravan, which will depart from the Republic FC Team Store (2421 17th Street, Sacramento) at 12 p.m.
Club staff and traveling fans will first visit the Butte County Office of Education office in Oroville to deliver school supplies and learn about the progress of relief efforts in the area. They will then head to the Chips for Kids Drive hosted by the California Highway Patrol in Chico to distribute gift cards.
Republic FC recently launched a collection drive for donations of gift cards and new school supplies, such as backpacks, paper, pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks and binders, in an effort to assist victims of the recent Camp Fire in Butte County. The collection drive and delivery expands on Republic FC's Camp Fire relief efforts after the club recently provided temporary housing for a Paradise family of six who lost their home in the fires.
