Reporter to Sing National Anthem at Liberty Belles Game

May 14, 2003 - Conshohocken - Michele McCormack, general assignment reporter for WPVI - TV/6 ABC, will be showing another talented side by singing the "National Anthem" at the Philadelphia Liberty Belles game on Saturday, May 31st, 2003 at 7 PM.

Michele is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She earned her reporting stripes during the flood of 1993. Her live coverage of the West Quincy levee break earned her the Edward R. Murrow award for spot news coverage.

Michele has accredited work as a weekend anchor for KMBC in Kansas City, MO, reporter for KWCH in Wichita, KS and producer/anchor at WGEM in Quincy, IL. She joined WPVI - TV/6 ABC in October, 1997 as the Action News general assignment reporter.

The Philadelphia Liberty Belles are pleased and honored to have such a talented woman in the media performing for them.
