March 12, 3003 - The Philadelphia Liberty Belles love to get e-mail from their fans. They get many kinds of e-mails asking for everything from schedules to appearances. But, the Liberty Belles received one particular e-mail that sparked an interest in Marie Olsen, owner of the Liberty Belles. Olsen decided to contact this fan. Why?
This e-mail was from a woman in India that loves what the Philadelphia Liberty Belles represent, freedom.
"I was just so amazed and excited to hear from a fan of a foreign country", states Olsen. "I wanted to talk (e-mail) to her since she see was a fan and doesn't get the opportunity to play football, like we do", Olsen added.

To The Philadelphia Liberty Belles,
It is really nice to know that the Philadelphia Liberty Belles are doing a great job with regards to freedom. It is also really nice to know that women play football. My name is Mariea and I am from India. I got to speak to Marie sometime back, it is amazing to know that women play football. We in India don't get the opportunity to play. It is really nice.
