Renegades to Honor America's Armed Forces

Fishkill, N.Y. - The Hudson Valley Renegades would like to announce that they are offering free admission to all individuals with valid military identification for their Opening Night game on June 17, 2003. The first pitch will take place 7:11 p.m. with a pre-game ceremony honoring the Armed Forces of the United States.

The Renegades will celebrate their tenth season in the Hudson Valley during the summer of 2003. As part of the pomp and circumstance planned, Sgt. Shannon Dyer will sing for the Dutchess Stadium crowd prior to the start of the game while Consuelo Hill will sing the National Anthem. Various veterans groups and U.S. military groups have been invited to attend the ‘Gades home opener as well.

In addition to the usual host of Renegades entertainment, ex-marine George Keseg will sing "God Bless America" as it will be performed every Renegades home game once again throughout the 2003 season.

In order to redeem the free admission offer, those individuals with a valid military I.D. will need to come to the Renegades Box Office at Dutchess Stadium during regular ticket office hours (Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.). On the day of the game, the Box Office will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m and 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
