Ottawa Renegades News Release

The Ottawa Renegades 2006 season ticket sales took a major step forward with the acquisition of 474 new season tickets Saturday from the 2 For 1 Season Ticket Promotion held in various movie theaters in Ottawa and Gatineau.

When combined with tickets already renewed to date the club has more than 2500 tickets sold already for 2006.

"We are very happy with the results," stated Club President Lonie Glieberman, "when you figure that at this time last year the future of the club was in doubt and no tickets had been sold this is definitely progress."

"Don't forget we have the $99. sale coming up again in June which last year netted 6,000 season tickets, plus we have over 6 months, to sell additional seats so we feel that our final number will be very substantial."
