Ottawa Renegades News Release
OTTAWA - Supporters of the Ottawa Renegades Football Club will get a chance to meet their players, up close and personal in yet another question-and-answer evening dinner session.
The Renegades announced the second group of players who will take part in the Touchdown Club at the Casino du Lac-Leamy's Bar 777 in Gatineau. Similar in format to the popular Quarterback Club, the Renegades will host events Monday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 24 and Oct. 31. The event will include prize and ticket giveaways and a chance for fans to ask questions to their favourite players. The inaugural event was last Monday, Oct. 17.
Scheduled guests for Monday, Oct. 24 are Renegades linebacker Jason Kralt and defensive back Donnie Ruiz. The club hopes to include at least one bilingual player each week to interact with fans in both languages.
The Casino du Lac-Leamy has been a loyal Renegades partner since the franchise's inception in 2002, and the Renegades are pleased to participate in the Casino's new Lucky 7 Days programming for Game Day Monday.
The Renegades return to action on Friday, Oct. 21 when they visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Renegades return to action at home on Sat. Oct, 29 when they host the Montreal Alouettes at 3 p.m. Tickets to the Oct. 29 game are available either at the Renegades ticket office (1015 Bank Street), on the Internet (http://www.capitaltickets.ca), by phone (613.599.3267 or 1 877 788.3267), any Sports Experts location in the Ottawa and Gatineau regions as well as the Corel Centre Box Office in Kanata.
