Ottawa Renegades News Release

OTTAWA - Two weekly television shows and a Monday morning radio program headline a fall broadcast schedule that will have Renegades fans tapped in to all the happenings of the Ottawa football club for the final third of the 2005 season.

With autumn approaching, supporters of the Renegades will be able to catch both of the club's television shows at new time slots beginning next week.

Renegades Prime Time, the new 30-minute taped show on A Channel (Channel 6) will move to Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning this weekend with the September 24 fall debut. The program will now be live, with some of the same, popular taped segments.

"We are looking forward to more of a live format and to be on the air during the weekends," said Joanne Woo, producer of Renegades Prime Time. "Our plan is to be at Frank Clair Stadium for a live post-game show after the last two home games (Oct. 29 and Nov. 5), which will give our viewers even more of an up-close look at the Renegades team and players."

Renegade Vibe, now in its second season on Rogers Television (Channel 22), moves to Wednesday's from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting September 21. It will remain a live, call-in show with two different Renegades players and/or coaches weekly, as well as the usual previously recorded segments.

"Renegades Vibe continues to be a strong property for us and the feedback from fans has been tremendous," said Rogers Television Station Manager Ray Skaff. "We're very excited about the momentum that is building as the Renegades get closer to the playoffs. Vibe will continue to offer fans an exclusive opportunity to follow and connect with the team over the stretch drive."

The Ottawa Renegades radio show, aired live every Monday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Team 1200 - the flagship station for the club - will continue until the end of the season. Hosts Buzz, Jeff Avery and Glenn Kulka are joined weekly by players and coaches to provide insight into previous games and upcoming contests.
