THERE ARE STILL SEVERAL JERSEYS..........that have been paid for but not picked up from the jersey auctions. If you are one of the lucky winners we ask that you please come and pick up your jersey at the Renegades office in the Coliseum before the end of May.

AND SPEAKING OF JERSEYS..........we still have a few game jerseys for sale at the low price of only $85! These include some home (gold) and away (blue) plus a few warm up jerseys (green) as well. This is the last of this style jersey so don't miss out!

SEASON TICKETS CONTINUE ON SALE..........for the upcoming season. Some of the benefits of having season tickets include having a reserved seat for all 30 home games plus one pre-season game, first right to that seat for the playoffs, free copy of our program, THE RENEGADE, free game day insert, special season ticket holder entrance, guarantee to receive all nightly giveaways if picked up by the end of the second period (they are kept for you at the merchandise stand once the game begins), access all during the game to the Coliseum Club, private party with the players, discounted parking pass, ability to redeem unused season tickets for a future Renegades regular season game in the same season (must be exchanged 48 hours prior to the desired game), your own personal season ticket manager, special season ticket holder only prizes during the season and a chance for dinner with Coach Goudie and President/GM Allan B. JACKSONVILLE HAS BEEN GRANTED..........a one year suspension as they try and get their own arena built. In the meantime the league held a dispersal draft of their players and we acquired defenseman CONNER MACDONALD and centers RYAN WEBB and KAHILL THOMAS. The three players are expected in training camp this fall.

AND TO ALL OF OUR CURRENT SEASON TICKET HOLDERS..........who may have a balance on their account we appreciate you keeping your account current. Some of our season ticket holders have only made their deposit and no other payments. Your season ticket needs to be paid in full by August 31st so please keep that in mind.

We encourage early payment of season tickets and sponsorships because revenue from these two sources is how all sports franchises operate and pay their bills during the off season. As there are no games from which to realize income from game day ticket sales, merchandise and all other revenue streams, sports teams rely solely on sponsorships and season ticket sales for the majority of their operating income in this time frame. When corporate sponsors and season ticket holders pay at their earliest opportunity they are greatly assisting the sports franchise by assuring they will have a healthy financial picture during the off season.

IF IT IS AT ALL POSSIBLE..........we ask that you make future payments in person when paying by credit card. The companies that service credit card accounts have recently made a dramatic increase in the charge they place when a credit card is "keyed in" and not swiped. That charge is very substantial; at times as much as 28% of the charged amount! We do not want to be forced to add a service charge to our fans so we do encourage you to stop by so that we can swipe your card and avoid these excessive charges. Or pay by check if you wish. Thank you.

THE SPHL WILL HOLD THEIR SUMMER MEETINGS..........June 8-12, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC. The first two full days will be for the Board of Governors only and the two remaining days will be for teams to meet and exchange marketing, sales and other ideas. The 2008-09 league schedule is expected to be one of the main subjects at the meetings.

THE RENEGADES ARE LOOKING FOR..........groups, organizations, schools, teams, etc. who would like to earn some extra money during the Renegades season by selling Fire-a-Tires before the game and during the first two periods of the game. If your group is interested call Tracy at the Renegades office at 644-7825. You must be able to do a minimum of five games during the season. The majority of our games are played on Friday and Saturday nights.

JUST WANT TO GIVE EVERYONE PLENTY OF TIME..........in case you are interested in becoming MISS RENEGADES 2009. The contest for MISS RENEGADES 2009 will be held in December 2008. Further details will be forthcoming.
