Renegades announce signing of Sandy Annunziata

Sandy Annunziata signed with the Ottawa Renegades over the weekend. The parties agreed to terms over the final days of the CFL congress and now have the terms of the contract finalized, signed and documents returned to the club.
Ottawa Renegades Executive Vice President and General Manager Forrest Gregg was quoted; "We are very pleased to have Sandy Annunziata on board with the 2006 Ottawa Renegades, Sandy has a long history of team leadership within the CFL and we expect that he will be instrumental in being a role model not only in our offensive line unit but within the entire team."
The contract will be forwarded on the CFL league office where it will be reviewed and approved. Various fan sites and area papers had reported the deal as done weeks ago, but in fact the signed documents were just in hand with the team this afternoon.
