Renegades Announce Free Agent Camp
July 2, 2007 - SPHL (SPHL)
Richmond Renegades News Release
The Richmond Renegades today announced they will be holding their annual free agent camp September 14 - 16, 2007 at SkateNation in Short Pump, a Richmond western suburb. The camp will be administered by John Lovell, Hockey Director for SkateNation and operated by Brian Goudie, Head Coach for the Richmond Renegades.
The camp is currently schedule to have one skill session and each player will play in at least three games. The Renegades will select up to five players to be invited to their main training camp beginning October 15, 2007. At last year's Free Agent Camp, three players were issued invitations and two of those players played during the regular season for the Renegades. A limited number of players and only 8 goalies will be accepted for the free agent camp. Last year's camp was a sellout so players are urged to register early.
The camp cost is $279 including housing and $229 if the player does not require housing. All players will also receive a camp jersey, the above noted playing time, an evening meal at the conclusion of each day and transportation to and from the camp hotel.
To register for the free agent camp contact John Lovell at jlovell@richmondicezone.com or call John at 804-364-1877 ext. 109.
