Rename Amarillo's indoor football team

Due to legal complications, the Amarillo Dusters name and logo may no longer be used, the team announced Thursday.
"We're moving forward and the next step will be renaming the team,"Â commented Owner Randy Sanders. "I now turn to the creative people of the Panhandle for help in order to find a new identity for their indoor football team beginning in 2010."
Fans may submit their ideas to media@amarillogorillas.com by Monday, February 1st at 9:00 A.M. Central Standard Time. Each submission should include the new team name submission along with the submitter's name, phone number & email address. The winner will receive two season tickets for the 2010 Amarillo indoor football season.
AMARILLO is a proud new member of the Indoor Football League. The team's front office is located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo. 2010 season tickets are available by calling (806) 350-PASS (7277).
