Relocation of Hank Aaron's Home Delayed Due to Weather

MOBILE, AL - Due to inclement weather, Hank Aaron's Childhood home will now be physically moved to Hank Aaron Stadium on Saturday, October 25th. The house will be ready to move at 7am and should arrive at the stadium later in the afternoon.
The BayBears, who are the AA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, will be moving the home with the help of Hinkle Home Movers and the City of Mobile. Once at the stadium, the home will be restored and converted to the Hank Aaron Museum and Learning Center honoring the baseball legend and Mobile native's life and career. The museum is scheduled to open its doors to the public at the beginning of the 2009 baseball season. 2009 will also mark Hank Aaron's 75th birthday.
