
Reget's Record-Setting Game Leads to All MASL Honors for Week 16

LAKELAND, Fla. - After setting a team record for points in a game, Tropics forward Zach Reget was named to the All Major Arena Soccer League team for Weed 16.
Reget had five goals, - which tied a team record for most goals in a game - and added three assists for an eight-point afternoon against the St. Louis Ambush March 8. Reget, the reigning MASL Rookie of the Year - now has 21 goals this year, one short of his 22 goal production from a year ago. With his 16 assists, a personal best, he is tied for second in overall scoring on the Tropics with Victor Parreiras.
Earning honorable mention honors were forwards Guilherme, Parreiras and Ricardo Carvalho. The Tropics defeated Rochester 10-7 in Rochester on March 6.
At 18-3, Florida could clinch first place in the Eastern Conference if Harrisburg defeats Utica on Wednesday, March 10. They but could also do it next Sunday, March 15, when they host the Kansas City Comets.
