Amarillo Venom News Release
AMARILLO, Texas Dusters quarterback has been named to the af2 All-Ironman Team, an award given to the few players who excel on both sides of the ball.
"Julian is the heartbeat of this team," said head coach Chris MacKeown. "Most coaches wouldn't dare put their starting quarterback in on defense but he is so intelligent and tough that I'm comfortable having him play defense too."
Reese threw for 2,712 with 55 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. He also rushed for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns. On defense, he posted 4.5 tackles, 2 crucial interceptions, and a forced fumble, which is remarkable for a quarterback.
