Reds and Yankees Rained Out Again

July 1st - The doubleheader between the Sarasota Reds and the Tampa Yankees scheduled for today July 1st has been postponed due to heavy rains and inclement field conditions at Ed Smith Stadium. The postponed game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday, July 2nd featuring two seven-inning games starting at 5pm. A post game fireworks show is scheduled to follow the conclusion of the double header.

Due to this being the last time the Reds and Yankees are scheduled to play during the 2009 regular season, Tuesday's game which was postponed to be part of today's doubleheader will not be made up.
